Week 3: Tittle Selection and Update Project Tittle

 

Objective:

  • Select the final project tittle
  • Update the details of the project for the Coordinator to see

 

Description:

As was briefed, students may choose the titles that are offered by lecturers (FYP supervisors) or come out with own ideas. After doing some thinking, I decided to go for my own idea that is "Cyclist Emergency Detection".

After selected the project tittle, all of the FYP1 student have to enter the project tittle and the name of the supervisor into the Excel file provided. I entered my project tittle and supervisor's name in the excel file and read through the list of the titles of the project to check whether other student is having the same project tittle with me or not.

 

Conclusion:

I have chosen Cyclist Emergency Detection as my project tittle of FYP1. I will be making a prototype of this system. I have done update my project details (project tittle and objectives) with my supervisor’s name (Madam Roziyani Rawi)

WEEK 11: CONTINUE WITH CHAPTER 3

  Week 11: Submit Chapter 1 & 2 and Continue with Chapter 3   Objective: Submit Chapter 1 and 2 to supervisor Complete Chapter 3   Description: After finished draft on Chapter 1 and 2, this week I continue with Chapter 3 which is Methodology. In this chapter, first I need to choose what methodology model I should use. After survey, some project report from previous report, I choose Iterative Waterfall Model. With this model I can turn back 1 phase before to change the design or architecture of the project.   As for diagram, I was thinking to start design next week. This week I will finish other part of Chapter 3 that is Project resource, Budget and costing, and WBS. Conclusion: I have complete part of Chapter 3. Next week I need to finish all the design.
